Foglio

Design Pinuccio Borgonovo, 2021

A modular system of furniture that, thanks to its design semplicity with clean lines, allows the creation of solutions that can be included in every room of the house: from living to dining rooms, from bedrooms to hallways or even in home offices. The structure is a sheet of metal that has been curved harmoniously to produce sideboards in a range of dimensions, horizontal or vertical open storage units or with doors, shelves. The visual lightness of the edges is balanced by the solidity of the materials; the simple shapes by the variety of the finishes (matt burnished, anodic bronze, oxide, silver oxide, desert rock, black, greige and white). The doors and the back panels are available in the same finishes or with a smoked or bronzed mirror finish.

  • The top of the Foglio sideboard in Desert Rock T029 finish houses a composition of miscellaneous objects. A large glass vase reflects light, creating delicate plays on the wall.
  • One of the lower doors of the sideboard is open, showing the interior equipped with glass glasses. On the upper shelves, books and other miscellaneous objects complete the refined and functional atmosphere.
Placed in an elegant living room, the FOGLIO sideboard develops horizontally under a large glass window, serving as a base for decorative and technological objects. The matte burnished T013 finish dialogues with the dark tones of the rug and the vertical light element of the SOFTWING lamp. A green glass vase with wildflowers adds a natural touch, balancing the architectural composure of the cabinet.
A close-up of the FOGLIO sideboard highlights the precision of the volumes and the quality of the T013 matte burnished finish. Open shelves house books and editorial objects. The lower compartments, closed by smooth panels, create a visual balance between solids and voids. The textural effect is understated and sophisticated, underscored by the natural light that touches the surfaces.
In an essential room with warm, textural tones, the Foglio shelf in Desert Rock T029 finish fits discreetly and elegantly on the gray wall. Its curved profile houses a minimal lamp, a few books and a photograph, becoming a visual and functional centerpiece. Next to it, the Notturno Shabby Chic bed upholstered in Roger 0916 fabric is complemented by graphic linens in hazelnut and taupe tones. The atmosphere is collected and balanced, with natural materials, soft light and light volumes dialoguing with sobriety.
In Foglio, the clean shapes – a common feature of the items in the collection – are combined with a comprehensive range of original and exclusive finishes, with maximum care and attention paid to every structural detail.
The Foglio shelf is revealed in the detail: smooth surfaces and horizontal grain typical of the Desert Rock T029 finish. A lamp with soft lines diffuses a gentle light that caresses the wall. Next to it, a book and a framed photograph define an intimate, uncluttered space. The contrast between opaque and reflective materials enhances the essentiality of the furniture and its practical function.
Taken up close, the Foglio shelf shows its rounded, continuous edge with a clean, harmonious design. The top in Desert Rock T029 finish features light veining that adds depth and visual warmth. A book resting on it introduces an unobtrusive, everyday detail. Next to it, the headboard of the Notturno Shabby Chic bed in Roger 0916.

Used as a console table, it accommodates decorative objects and volumes of various kinds with an understated and contemporary elegance. In the background, corten effect walls with glass portholes complete the refined atmosphere.

The top is embellished with a decorative matte black vase, while the lower shelf accommodates books and magazines. The contrast with the corten-effect wall and glass portholes emphasizes the material elegance of the complement.
In all elements of the Foglio collection, the visual lightness is countered by the solidity of the gently curved metal sheet used in the production.
The FOGLIO composition in BLACK finish with mirrored back enhances the living wall with rigorous lines and deep reflections. The suspended elements - shelves and vertical storage - accommodate decorative ceramic objects, playing with symmetry and voids. The dark frame amplifies the contrast with the light wall, creating an elegant and contemporary area.
Close-up detail of the FOGLIO composition in BLACK finish: the curved structure and mirrored bottom create depth and multiply light. Natural ceramics stand out sharply thanks to the reflective surface, evoking a dialogue between form and matter. The rounded edge gives visual softness, while the matte finish reinforces the graphic character of the whole.
In the most intimate corner of the living room, the FOGLIO black/mirror composition floats on the light lime wall, complemented by a hanging shelf and two horizontal modules. The reflections of the displayed objects enrich the scene with discreet theatricality. In the foreground, the Pierre Shell armchair with a greige frame and Fred 0794 arctic upholstery introduces a soft, welcoming note.
The TV or home theater zone also has extremely original appeal with Foglio: the shelf and the vertical and horizontal storage units define and outline the areas dedicated to the big screens.
The FOGLIO composition in a greige finish is distinguished by its suspended volumes and soft shapes. Open compartments with mirrored backs accommodate sculptural vases in earthy tones. The lower level houses decorative pink glass elements, complemented by a black conical lamp. The whole stands out against a clear wall, emphasizing the lightness of the design.
The elements of Foglio in greige are elegant and sophisticated – cupboards, shelves and horizontal storage units – furnish entire walls without adding any apparent heaviness, sliding easily into any color scheme.
The low element of the FOGLIO composition in a greige finish blends elegantly into refined living. Above, art books and ceramic objects dialogue with a large gray canvas and brass sculpture. The formal cleanliness of the cabinet enhances the materiality of the accessories, offering functionality and style with discretion and harmony.
A close-up detail highlights the construction quality of the FOGLIO composition in a greige finish. Sharp volumes and rounded grooves define an essential style. Shelves accommodate art books and precious objects, while the matte texture of the surface gives a velvety feel. A perfect balance between functionality and contemporary design.
The Foglio sideboard in Oxide finish is distinguished by its continuous, textured profile. Flowing lines wrap around storage compartments and open shelves, enlivened by books and sculptural objects. In the foreground, the Pierre ottoman upholstered in Pacific 0792 blue introduces a velvety, chromatic note, accentuating the balance between functional design and decoration.
Bathed in natural light, the Foglio sideboard in Oxide finish fits between Flora armchairs upholstered in blue N82 Nubuck with blue Rudolf 0795 cloaks. The interplay between solid volumes and metallic surfaces creates an elegant composition. Above, glassy art objects complete the scene, while the floor lamp visually accompanies the furniture with formal lightness.

The cupboard of the Foglio collection, with the ‘metallic’ oxide finish, is also available in a double-face version, perfect for positioning in the middle of a room, to outline pathways or to discretely separate the spaces.
